Supporting Families, Preventing Tragedies

How WE can help!

Within the AIM network are midwives, obstetricians and other maternity sector specialists who we can call on to review clinical notes and answer your questions on the care you received.

Should you so choose, we offer to walk you through the varying complaints processes, guiding you every step of the way.

We can help you to apply to obtain ACC cover for your own or your child’s birth injuries. Then we can explain what your entitlements are and how best to use the cover for your particular situation. AIM has access to ACC specialists in order to help obtain cover or resolve ACC disputes.

As families that have walked similar paths, we offer emotional support to you and your whanau, via email, telephone (24/7), or in person. We can also put you in touch with services in your area that specialise, be it health and wellbeing, counselling, grief or disability issues.

We give you a safe place to tell your story publicly through Our Stories on our website.

All of the above services and more are provided with no obligation or cost to you.

You are not alone.
